The decor caught my eye right away, resembling the laid-back Florida Keys. I enjoyed a speedy check-in and a comfy room that was surprisingly quiet despite being in the center of town. The bar on the ground floor was a nice spot to unwind with a drink. The view from my room was lovely, with pleasant scenery of the old town. A few things could use improvement. The breakfast service closed at 10:30. While the staff at the reception were generally helpful, I encountered an unfriendly receptionist who seemed unwelcoming when I needed assistance. It was a charming place, but a little more attention to guest comfort would go a long way.

Location is great and the rooms are good and clean
The restaurant. It opened 15 minutes late for breakfast, the roof was leaking and the breakfast was not ready. In the evening we asked for to glasses of wine to take to the room and it took the waiter 15 min to serve us.

The location was great - an easy walk to everywhere we wanted to go. The breakfast was exceptionally nice, had a wide array of food like coffee, pastries, fruit and bread. The exceptionally nice and very pleasant staff members provided a few recommendations.
Didn't like the staff, some of them were not so friendly.

charming old town atmosphere, proximity to ferry, vibrant bar scene
It's way too small!!! The common areas felt cramped at times. An expanded lounge area would be a nice improvement!!!

The breakfast is incredibly nice and offers coffee, pastries, fruit, and breads. Modern neat rooms, they are provided with a big comfy bed and terraces, for instance.

The location was excellent. Very close to the beach and to the Port of Tarifa, where I took the fast ferry over to Tanger, Morocco. I was lucky to be there during a Spanish festival, and so there was lots of excitement and fun in the town in the evening just outside the doors of the Hotel. There is also an excellent restaurant attached to the hotel. Excellent and friendly staff, as well.
My last evening there, there was no water so I was unable to take a shower prior to leaving. From what I understand, this was a town issue.

charming, charming, charming
What a wonderful surprise! I was in a good old part of town that gave the feeling of a seaside movie set. Enjoyed a cozy Twin Room that was both comfortable and well-equipped, including a kettle for tea and coffee. The breakfast options, although missed due to my early ferry, were made fresh and really delicious.
100% recommend 😍💖

We had an amazing experience with stunning views from our private terrace and enjoyed the chic bar for drinks, though we had to walk for breakfast.

Close to places to eat. Staff was friendly.
No place to park at or close to the Hotel, had to pay 120 Euros to park my car for 10 days about 1/2K from hotel and it was not open until 8:00 am to get the car in the mornings. Hotel cafe was under construction so breakfast was at another location, only one option at 8:00 am.

Its a very cool hotel in the town centre.
Due to being in the centre find parking which is free close by can be difficult. Otherwise you need to pay for most parking.

missingWrote a review on 18 Octmaintenance issues
The junior suite on the roof terrace was in need of maintenance, with a loose deck, old furniture, and a cracked glass door that was taped over. A dead flower arrangement in the room and an old fridge with ice buildup suggested a lack of attention to detail, while the grouting around the sink invited unwanted ants due to apparent neglect.

A really charming hotel , management and staff dealt with a couple a small issues we had in a very professional way.Room was very comfortable the hotel is in a very central location.Highly recommend.
Nothing really :although perhaps some more variety at breakfast eg yogurt, pastries or fruit salad would be nice.

Location--in the heart of the old town, yet the rooms are quiet. Lots of cafes, bars and shops nearby. Can walk to the beach. Clean and modern--no iffy bedspreads or carpets. Friendly and extremely helpful English-speaking staff. Comfortable beds with extra pillows and reading lamps. Good shower and fluffy towels. 5 minute walk to/from the ferry for easy arrival and departure. Air conditioning. Wifi in the room.
The only thing lacking was a rooftop terrace but with the way the wind blows, a roof terrace may not have been pleasant. The price seemed high but is reasonable for the area when compared to other accommodations available.
